What is locked
Rulings by MD in the planning thread, 17–18 AUG 2026. Everything below is decided; open items are listed at the bottom.
- IDENTITYKinetic ID is a digital credential with a digital ID card. One ID signs into every surface, scopes what you may run, and stamps every File you export. Unique, permanent, non-transferable.
- ACCOUNTFree to create; invite code required for now. Pricing decided later; no prices in mocks. Verification of user, organization, role, and purpose before anything runs live. No run box or product on the home screen.
- FILESFiles are the deliverable. Every product ends in a packaged, sealed File. Library = everything you have turned into a File. Vault = super-encrypted Files where unlocking is a process, not a click (view, edit, add, export all gated).
- OPERATORThe current Desk offering (Receiver, Vault, Channels at kineticdesk.app) is renamed Kinetic Operator: the automated, corpus-based results product. Your operator produces Files. UX form factor is independent of the offering.
- BUILD PATHNew Desk built on a fresh Vercel staging app. kineticdesk.app folds in later and becomes the account home at the domain flip. Meridian stays separate and becomes Operation Meridian.
- BREADTHInclude every product with an honest status pill; haircut later. Some products are available only to credentialed groups and buyers, and that tier lifts the open products (the F1-to-AMG halo).
